(PARA)SITE (2022–PRESENT)
This ongoing series examines industrial ecologies, polluted waterways, and working-class queer histories through site-specific performance, photography, and archival interventions. Commissioned by the Thames Festival Trust and presented at Deptford X, (para)site reanimates overlooked urban environments—such as the Thames foreshore—through tactile, ritualistic performance and assemblages of found materials. It draws on personal histories of addiction and recovery as metaphors for contamination and renewal, exploring how ecology, identity, and industry intersect.
The project is evolving into a wider programme of live events, workshops, and exhibitions
to be announced.
